饮马长城窟行　是汉代乐府诗歌。

全诗从开始的魂牵梦萦，忧心缠绵，到收信看信，重逢的希望落空，通过多方描写，将思妇复杂而微妙的内心世界，作了完整而深入的刻画。

而就在思妇的相思苦闷发展到顶点时，诗却在含蓄得近乎平淡的意象中结束，余味无穷。

远道不可思，宿昔梦见之。

梦见在我傍，忽觉在他乡。

他乡各异县，展转不相见。

枯桑知天风，海水知天寒。

入门各自媚，谁肯相为言！

客从远方来，遗我双鲤鱼，呼儿烹鲤鱼，中有尺素书。

长跪读素书，书中意何如？

上言加餐食，下言长相忆。
