人出世为生，入地为死。

长寿的人占十分之三，短命的人占十分之三，本来可以长生但自己走向死路的人占十分之三。

为什么会这样呢？

因为对生活执着过度了。

听说善于养生的人，在陆地上行走不会遇到犀牛和老虎，进入战场不会受到杀伤。

犀牛对其无法施用它的角，老虎对其无法利用它的爪，兵器对其无法施用它的锋芒利刃。

那是什么原因呢？

因为他不蹈死地。

第五十章出生入死，生之徒十有三，死之徒十有三。

人之生，动之于死地亦十有三。

夫何故？

以其生生之厚。

盖闻善摄生者，陆行不遇凶虎，入军不被甲兵。

兕无所投其角。

虎无所用其爪。

兵无所容其刃。

夫何故？

以其无死地。
