法惠寺横翠阁　是北宋诗人苏轼创作的一首杂言古诗。

这是首典型的登临诗，与历来登临诗一样，分为二层，即登临所见、由登临而产生的感慨。

诗无论是写景还是抒情，都波折多变，笔法灵活，用语清丽。

同时，诗以五言写景，七言抒情，起首四句又杂以民歌体，活泼跳荡，用韵平仄交合，寓以变化。

吴山故多态，转侧为君容。

幽人起朱阁，空洞更无物。

惟有千步冈，东西作帘额。

春来故国归无期，人言悲秋春更悲。

已泛平湖思濯锦，更看横翠忆峨眉。

雕栏能得几时好，不独凭栏人易老。

百年兴废更堪哀，悬知草莽化池台。

游人寻我旧游处，但觅吴山横处来。

On the lake I recall the Brocade-washing Stream;And these green hills remind me of Emei.

How long will these painted railings last?

He is growing old, the man leaning over the railings.

Success for a space, then decline—the pity of it!

Soon weeds and brambles will cover this pavilion,And travelers in search of my old hauntsWill simply find Mount Wu spread out before them.
