记承天寺夜游　是北宋著名文学家苏轼创作的一篇散文，写于宋神宗元丰六年（1083年），当时，作者正因“乌台诗案”被贬谪到黄州任职。

Down there, the yard glittered bright as if from pools of water crisscrossed with aquatic plants, which turned out to be shadows of bamboos and cypresses.
