Modern Family's co-creator Christopher Lloyd has revealed there will be a "significant" death in the upcoming tenth series.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Christopher said the upcoming series will deal with "bigger life events" than in previous, which have focused on the goofy fun of family life.
