A five-star hotel in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu Province, has introduced a family reunion dinner on Chinese New Year's eve with a whopping price of 38,8888 yuan ($61,728).

The dinner is regarded as the most expensive reunion dinner in China, the Singapore-based Lianhe Zaobao reported Monday.

日前位于中国东部的江苏省苏州市某五星级饭店推出除夕夜天价年夜饭，价格高达388888元。

The dinner constitutes of ten top-level dishes as main course, including a dish of limited collection Ah Yat Abalone; braised white truffle and and stewed wild honeycomb and cubilose.

In addition, in the "package" is also included a one-night stay in the hotel's presidential suite with a Hummer at disposition.

Performances such as Suzhou Pintan and Suzhou embroideries will also be embodied during the reunion.

A manager surnamed Wang said that it is the first time for the hotel to promote such delicacy, targeting high-end consumer groups.

The manager said as their service is "made to measure", customers who want to book it can consult with the hotel.

"This super dinner will start from 3 pm on New Year's Eve and end at 10 am the next day.

Special preferential demands are also open to talking," He said.
