A 7-year-old boy from the United Kingdom has life-threatening allergic reactions to frigid weather due to a rare skin condition, according to a new report.

Tommy Leitch suffers from a rare disorder known as cold urticaria and angioedema, which leaves him with rashes, difficulty breathing and a swollen stomach during winter months, according to The Sun.

Last winter he was hospitalised every month as his allergic reaction caused him to violently vomit, struggle to breathe and was delirious,” his mom, Abigail McDonald, told the outlet.

”McDonald said Tommy’s symptoms began two years ago when she noticed a rash on his head.

”Tommy was rushed to the hospital, where he was referred to a dermatologist who gave him the diagnosis, according to the report.
