The Palace Museum in Beijing announced a test run on Monday to promote free access for juveniles.

故宫博物院11月29日宣布试行免费对未成年人开放。

According to the official website of the museum on Monday, trial operations for free access for those below 18 will begin on Dec 10.

Reservation for the free entry tickets will go online at 8 pm, Dec 3.

The free entry policy also applies to the treasure gallery and the clock gallery, which normally require an extra ticket to enter.

Ticket reservations can be made via a website or the WeChat account of the museum.

根据故宫博物院官网发布的消息，2021年12月3日20时起，可通过故宫博物院售票网站、故宫博物院观众服务”微信公众号预约2021年12月10日以后的未成年人免费门票(含珍宝馆、钟表馆)。

The policy will be adjusted according to public opinion during the test run.

试行期间，故宫博物院将根据公众意见、建议，不断完善票务服务管理体系。
