China will speed up the cultivation of skilled personnel urgently needed to promote the high-quality development of the country's manufacturing industry, according to a government plan.

From 2022 to 2025, China will establish national training bases for highly skilled personnel, as well as promote technology and upgrading in the manufacturing sector.

The plan was issued on Monday by three government bodies, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

方案提出，2022年至2025年，建立国家技能根基工程培训基地，促进制造业技术迭代和质量升级。

The country will also increase government subsidies for the training of personnel that are urgently needed and improve the incentive mechanism for those talents.

加大急需紧缺职业工种政府补贴培训支持力度。
