丁丁租房近日发布 2015北京租房生活报告　称，北京租房人口已经达到700万，占北京常住人口的三成。

令人意外的是，租客中竟然以北京籍最多。

最新报告称，去年北京租房人口已经达到700万，占北京常住人口的三成。

这相当于香港的人口总数。

Half the renters are under 30, while 17 percent are over 41.

其中，半数租客年龄在30岁以下，还有17%的租客年龄超过41岁。

Those with a Beijing hukou, or household registration, account for 18 percent of the renters.

在这三成租客中，拥有北京户口的人占到18%。

很多上班族选择以房养房的方式，来调整自己的通勤时间。

所谓以房养房”，即将自己的房子租出去，选择距单位更近的区域或其他地区租房居住。

在他们看来，两头租房，不但满足了需求，支出也不大。

这群人被称为双租族”。

还有些人并未将自己的住房出租，而是用于过周末，过起了双房生活”。

Renting while owning is preference of many residents.

自有住房，同时租房成为很多人的选择。

Some of the renters have their own property in Beijing but choose to live in the rented places for various reasons, including proximity to a school for a child, saving commuting time to the workplace or for economic reasons, it said.

报告称，一些租客在北京有自己的房产，但出于多种原因出去租房住，比如为了孩子上学近，节省通勤时间，或者经济原因。

According to a study by Beijing Normal University, the average daily commute for residents in Beijing in 2015 lasted 97 minutes, the longest in the country.

根据北京师范大学的调查数据，2015年北京上班族每天的通勤时间全国最高，达到97分钟。

除了节省时间，双租族”将自己的住房租出去，有时也是为了省钱还月供(monthly mortgage payment)。
